Why did you change the name?

The Sumners family hasn’t been part of the Sumners Insurance Agency ownership for many years, but their name has remained attached to our brand. We’re proud of the legacy we have built, and now it feels like the right time to take on a name that reflects who we are today.

We’re located in the heart of Wright County, a name that truly resonates with our community, and felt it was fitting to build our identity around that. While our name is changing, we remain the same full-service agency, with the same team and the same commitment to serving you.

Was the agency sold or acquired?

No. Wright County Insurance is still owned by Andy Young, the 5th generation owner.

Is the location or contact information changing?

We are staying in the same location and our phone number and fax are the same. We are updating our email addresses to follow the format: name@wrightci.com.

Will my agent / point of contact stay the same?

Yes! You will continue working with the same person you worked with previously, they will just have a new email address.

Will I need to sign new documents or contracts?
